About the Role
As a Freelance IT Sales Executive, you seek to uncover opportunities for Gavant’s on-shore, 100% US-based software development services within Financial Services companies. Gavant’s services include Digital Platform Modernization, AWS Consulting, and Software Development as a Service.
You'll have a hand in guiding the sales prospecting and go-to-market strategies while playing an integral role in execution, supported by an outstanding team to assist with marketing resources, strategies, sales engineering, and closing.
This is a 100% commission role that may be performed full time or part time, and in addition to other employment, on a 1099 basis. Success in the role will open the potential to transitioning to W-2 employee.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Gavant sales and marketing leadership team
- Initiate relationships with prospective clients
- Respond to sales calls and emails
- Maintain a sales pipeline following a sales process
- Develop an evangelistic understanding of Gavant services and client outcomes
- Develop a thorough understanding of technology services and trends
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in the Financial Services industry
- 4-year college degree or equivalent industry experience
- Sales/business development experience
- High level of financial acumen to engage in consultative business discussions with functionally diverse client teams
- Strong communication, presentation, listening skills
- Technical aptitude
- Successful track record of sales and relationship management with notable accomplishment
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skill
- Ability to coordinate multiple sales activities
- Exceptional interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- High level of professionalism and integrity
- Negotiation skills
- Computer skills (including Word, Excel, SalesForce contact management)
- Desire to monetize your contacts

You'll have a hand in guiding the sales prospecting and go-to-market strategies while playing an integral role in execution, supported by an outstanding team to assist with marketing resources, strategies, sales engineering, and closing.
