Pump Audio Soundtrack

The Soundtrack Service from Pump Audio allows people to easily search and license music for anything from radio and TV ads to online blogs and podcasts.  By having the catalog online and available 24/7 means users can get access to the music they need when they need it.

Gavant Software assisted Pump Audio with the architecture and development of the Soundtrack Service. We leveraged technologies such as Adobe Flash, .Net framework and web services and a custom video encoding queue service. The encoding tier uses the ffmpeg library to provide near realtime video encoding which allows users to preview their videos mixed with music.  Special attention had to be used when designing the application to allow it to handle a large volume of visitors and video encodes.  The result is a slick, responsive and easy to use application.
