Gavant Software was announced as a finalist for the award category of 'micro-enterprise award' at the 2006 Albany Colonie Regional Chamber of Commerce's 2006 Small Business Council Annual Awards Dinner.
This exciting and popular annual event is the culmination of a process that began in June, when nomination forms were sent to the Chamber's 2,700 members. Businesses nominated for awards were required to submit applications, which were then reviewed by a committee of judges. The judging committee, comprised of community and business leaders, selected the honorees; they choose three finalists for each of the seven award categories.
Winners for each award will be announced "Academy Awards-style" at the Awards Dinner on September 28, 2006 at the Holiday Inn on Wolf Road.
