More specifically, the Downtown District of Troy provides fabulous amenities including nineteenth century architecture, friendly merchants offering many unique products and services, excellent restaurants and a host of gift and specialty shops within a compact walkable setting. There are numerous places to eat and drink thanks to a recent revitalization effort underway. Troy attributes its recent growth to a robust mix of consumers, a diverse college and university population, and an educated workforce.
