flash/php developer

Gavant Software is currently seeking a highly motivated Flash and PHP developer who will design and develop custom Flash-based or PHP-based applications. At Gavant, we challenge our developers with interesting and exciting projects to work on. We have several large-scale projects currently underway.

Applicant must be a US citizen who is able to work during business hours.

• Design and develop complex Flash application using ActionScript outside of the timeline.
• Build web applications from start to finish.
• Interface with clients to gather requirements.
• Test and maintain systems in production.
• Troubleshoot and resolve general software defects.

required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (or relevant experience).
• Prior and demonstratable experience developing complex Flash applications.
• Expertise in ActionScript development and writing classes using AS outside of the timeline.
• Prior and demonstratable experience developing PHP/MySQL sites.
• Solid understanding of object oriented design principles.
• Strong communication skills

preferred qualifications

• Experience working with video, FLV and audio clips.
• Proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator and Creative Suite.
• Experience using Web Services with Flash.
• Experience using Modx CMS.
