Gavant Software was founded in August of 2002 by two Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute alumni who saw a need in local businesses for expert knowledge of web and software technology without the overhead of employees and dedicated resource allocation. Since our inception, we've been building relationships with such businesses and helping them leverage technology to increase their bottom line. Our offices are located in the historic Rice Building, in downtown Troy, New York.
Our experience shows us that businesses are often capable of identifying things that they need to do better. For instance, their potential customers may not have enough exposure to products they sell. Or their sales team cannot process customer orders quickly or efficiently enough to keep pace with other corporate objectives. Maybe the problem is strictly an internal one, where workflow is a paper process and productivity is lowered by communication barriers or the lack of appropriate tools. This is where Gavant Software comes in. We sit down with you to identify your unique business needs and leverage software and the web to fill those gaps.
